In this video, I will show you how to make creamy vegan cream cheese in just a few steps. After 12 hours of resting time, it is perfect for breads, dips, or cooking.

This vegan cream cheese is the perfect alternative to traditional cream cheese. Made with cashews and a Skyr alternative, it is especially creamy and high in protein.

  • 250.0g Skyr Alternative

  • 25.0g Hemp flakes

  • 70.0ml Soy milk

  • 0.5TL Kala Namak

  • 0.5TL brown sugar

Step-by-step guide

Soaking cashews

Soak the cashews in boiling water for about 15 minutes.

Hot water makes the cashews softer and creamier.

Mix everything

Then add all the ingredients to a blender and puree everything into as fine a mixture as possible.

Let it rest

Pour the mixture into a container with a lid, place the lid loosely on top, and let everything rest at room temperature for 12 hours.

Place the lid loosely on top for air circulation.

Cooling

Seal the form airtight and place it in a cool location.
