Vegan High Protein Cheese Spaetzle in 25 Minutes

These creamy vegan cheese spaetzle are made with a protein-rich cheese sauce from silken tofu and nutritional yeast. Topped with vegan landjäger and crispy cheese, they create irresistible cheese spaetzle.

Cheese spaetzle are really at the top when it comes to my favorite dish. I could eat them every day, and when they are made as quickly as in this recipe, there are no more wishes left unfulfilled.

  • 350.0g soy milk

  • 25.0g Margarine

  • 60.0g Hefe flakes

  • 0.25piece Lemon

    only juice

  • 1.0EL maple syrup

  • 1.0TL garlic powder

  • 1.0TL Turmeric

  • 1.0TL paprika powder

  • 2.0EL Tapioca starch

  • 1.0TL Black Salt

Step-by-step guide

Prepare cheese sauce

Puree the silken tofu with all the ingredients from part 1.

Bring cheese sauce to a boil

Bring the mixture to a boil in a small pot until a cheesy consistency is achieved.

Sauté landjäger

Cut the landjäger into small cubes and fry.

Sauté onion

Sauté the onion until translucent.

Mix everything

Now combine everything in a baking dish, mix, and sprinkle with the vegan cheese and breadcrumbs.

Gratinated

Bake for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius with top heat.
